Portable Appliance Testing

All electrical appliances that are fitted with a 3 pin domestic plug amongst others are required to be tested on an annual basis to ensure that they are safe for employees and the public to use. Failure to comply can result in prosecution and carries a maximum penalty of £5000 and up to 6 months imprisonment. Our engineers carry out the tests in accordance with the IEE Code of Practise for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
